{"id":57658,"date":"2025-06-26T14:49:25","date_gmt":"2025-06-26T14:49:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/photonics.laser2000.co.uk\/?post_type=product&#038;p=57658"},"modified":"2025-12-17T14:36:32","modified_gmt":"2025-12-17T14:36:32","slug":"reflective-polarisers","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/stagingphotonics.laser2000.co.uk\/?product=reflective-polarisers","title":{"rendered":"Reflective Polarisers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A reflective polariser transmits the desired polarisation and reflects the rest<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>There are various methods, wire grid, Brewster&#8217;s angle or interference effects available as plates, cubes or prisms. <strong>Suitable for higher damage thresholds (&gt;50kW), larger acceptance angle (\u00b122.5\u00b0)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wire Grid<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>BV Series<\/strong> is a polarising beam splitter (PBS) cube with two main types one based on ICE Cube\u2122 technology that is optimized for use over a wide range of acceptance angles while maintaining colour uniformity and image contrast in the visible 400-700nm wavelength ranges, the other based on the VersaLight\u2122 technology which offers broadband (420-2600nm) performance with selectable AR coatings available on the faces of the cube covering either visible (450 to 1100 nm) or IR (1000 to 2000 nm).<\/p>\n<p>The patented VersaLight\u2122 technology which is constructed from a thin layer of aluminium MicroWires\u00ae on a glass substrate and sets a new standard for applications requiring high durability, contrast and a wide field of view for visible through infrared wavelengths.<\/p>\n<p>For plate beam-splitters based on VersaLight\u2122, the <strong>VLS\/VLR series<\/strong> offers the performance quality of dichroic sheet polarizers while extending the operating temperature to 200\u00b0 C. Large apertures available on a custom basis, up to 200mm rounds.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>DUV series<\/strong> was developed for wavelengths between 245 and 285 nm and the MPM series is optimised for 3-6 microns.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A reflective polariser transmits the desired polarisation and reflects the rest.
