Metrology and Polarimetry.
Metrology is the science of measurement; encompassing basic to high-end measurement devices. High-end metrology is a key enabler for modern, high-value, high-precision products where manufacturing accuracy is a fundamental requirement.
Polarimetry is a subset of metrology where optical activity is measured using polarimeters.
Thickness Gauges – Use the unique properties of light to take thickness measurements of a variety of materials without damaging or deforming the product.
Polarimeter – Determine the polarisation of incoming light or quantify the rotation of optically active substances.
Multiple Wave Retardance Measurement System – Measure the retardance of optical flat crystals to λ/1000 in under 10 seconds.
